Askhat Bidzhiev: doctor, poet, educator

Abstract: The article reflects the life activity and creative research of the Karachay poet, educator, translator Askhat Bidzhiev, emphasizing the significance and role of his translation heritage (“Song of the Falcon” and “Song of the Petrel” by M. Gorky, “The Captain’s Daughter” by A.S. Pushkin, “Demon” by M.Yu. Lermontov, fables by I.A. Krylov, etc.) and educational thought in the formation of professional Karachai literature. Analysis of poetic texts revealed the author’s skill in conveying national identity, linguistic “equipment,” and individual ideological position. So, for example, the ideological and plot component of the poem “The Forest is Crying” can be considered an unconditional marker of the evolutionary quality of the text, and the expressive artistic, visual and stylistic tools (mainly metaphors andepithets) can be considered a high indicator of the aesthetic embodiment of the author’s intention. The work used structural-descriptive, linguistic research methods, cognitive and axiological approaches.
