Improving the speed and efficiency of sorting processes, as well as reducing manual labor costs in various industries and agriculture, is an urgent task.</p> <p>Aim. The study aims to advance the sorting process by developing and implementing an automated system to control it.</p> <p>Materials and methods. The main sorting criteria are the position, color, and temperature of the object. A robotic manipulator controlled by DobotStudio and Arduino IDE software are selected as the actuator of the control system. The sensor system consists of a diffusion photoelectric sensor, a color sensor and a temperature sensor.</p> <p>Results. A cyclic sort algorithm is presented, including the sensor-based sorting, a robotic arm that sorts objects based on their specified parameters. A three-dimensional (3D) model of the system has been developed, which helps to test the operability of the algorithm. Five series of experiments were conducted using two sorting methods: manual sorting and the developed control system.</p> <p>Conclusions. As a result of implementing the developed management system, we are able to increase productivity by 20% and improve the quality of sorting. The implementation of the developed system reduces the number of defective products and lead to an increase in the productive efficiency.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В данной статье рассматривается разработка автоматизированной системы управления процессом сортировки продуктов с использованием робота-манипулятора Dobot Magician. Повышение скорости и эффективности процессов сортировки, а также снижение затрат на ручной труд в различных отраслях промышленности и сельского хозяйства является актуальной задачей.</p> <p>Целью исследования является совершенствование системы сортировки путем разработки и реализации автоматизированной системы управления данным процессом.</p> <p>Материалы и методы. Основными параметрами сортировки выбраны положение, цвет и температура объекта. В качестве исполнительного механизма системы управления выбран робот-манипулятор, управляемый через программное обеспечение DobotStudio и Arduino IDE. Система датчиков состоит из диффузионного фотоэлектрического датчика, датчика цвета и датчика температуры.</p> <p>Результаты. Представлен циклический алгоритм работы, включающий инициализацию датчиков, захват объектов и их сортировку по заданным параметрам. Разработана 3D-версия системы, с помощью которой была проверена работоспособность алгоритма. Проведено пять серий экспериментов для двух вариантов сортировки: с использованием ручной сортировки и с использованием разработанной системы управления.</p> <p>Выводы. В результате реализации разработанной системы управления удалось повысить производительность на 20 %, а также улучшить качество сортировки.
